FiLL P.L.L.C. is a Sole Proprietorship Small Business Landscape Architecture (LA) practice based in Fort Collins, CO. After 36 years in the practice as a Principal and LA Division Manager at two international and national firms, Phil Hendricks Jr. ASLA PLA formed FiLL p.l.l.c. to continue to provide personalized service and to share experiences gained through successful projects across the United States and internationally. We view Landscape Architecture as much more than a consulting opportunity – it is a craft honed over a lifetime.

We have dedicated our practice to planning and design of visitor, tourism, recreation, interpretive and ecotourism facilities on private, public and federal lands. Like many of the agencies we collaborate with we believe that public lands encompass the most significant natural, cultural and historical resources in the nation. Planning and design of these facilities – while preserving the health, diversity, and natural, cultural, and visual resources of these lands requires great sensitivity to their ecology, meaning, and context.

Our experience is drawn from a broad spectrum of projects. Ranging from rerouting trail and utility corridors through Grand Canyon National Park, to developing a comprehensive Development Concept Plan for the Flamingo area in Everglades National Park, both World Heritage Sites, or the planning and design of a recently dedicated new NPS National Monument – the Waco Mammoth National Monument.

The majority of our work is on multidisciplinary projects encompassing the full range of tasks from visioning, programming, and conceptualization through construction administration. Working in a team environment with leading experts, clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies is our preferred way of providing service. An iterative planning and design process, utilizing a systematic, approach ensures the integration of natural and cultural values with the design arts.
